Mandate
One of the major challenges was to create a walkway on a green roof with a technical membrane and install letters weighing several tons on it. On the creative side, the challenge was to design an inclusive and iconic structure reflecting the welcoming, French-speaking city, which both tourists and Montrealers will be able to make their own.
Approach
To do this, we combined inventive design and cutting-edge engineering to achieve a sustainable result that meets the high standards for green roofs.
ResultS
With Bonjour Montréal, we had the chance to continue our business relationship with Tourisme Montréal for another significant project for our city. This structure was designed with wood made from trees affected by the emerald ash borer and reclaimed by Bois Public. Thanks to its completely mirror-polished back, the piece also blends into the architectural fabric of the city.
